  • Patent number: 7596276
Abstract: A method of processing digitized picture data includes providing an hierarchical structure graph which is applied to the picture data in that, starting with the lowermost level, at least one node is processed. The provided hierarchical structure graph includes nodes, a specified number of levels, with at least one node located in each level, and edges connecting pairs of predetermined nodes of different levels and defining, for each pair of nodes, a lower father node and an upper son node. Processing of a node includes matching of its at least one picture matching model to the picture data by variation of the model parameters, determination of a matching quantity for each parameter variation, and determination of an assessment for each parameter variation. The assessment found for each parameter variation is applied as a criterion for the processing of a son node of the processed node.

  • Patent number: 7113641
Abstract: A method for automatically recognizing one or more structures in digitized image date includes determining sub-jets of the image graph at the nodes defined by its structure. The sub-jets correspond to at least part of the determined sub-jets of the specific reference graph. The projection of the net-like structure of the specific reference varies until a graph comparison function, which compares the jets of the image graph with the corresponding jets of the specific graph, becomes optimal. The structure is associated with a reference image corresponding to the reference graph for which the graph comparison function is optimal, with respect to the optimal image graph determined for the reference graph.

  • Publication number: 20040037469
Abstract: The invention relates to a device for the object-oriented control of at least one information display device, comprising at least one sensor device for detecting an object or a group of objects; and a control means. The invention is characterized in that the control means is configured for determining at least one classification feature of at least one object or of the group of objects detected by the sensor device and for controlling the at least one information display device on the basis of the at least one determined classification feature. The invention additionally relates to a system comprising at least one information display device; and a device for the object-oriented control of the at least one information display device of the type described hereinbefore.
