    Abstract: A remote embedded wireless communication module obtains configuration information by accessing a Subscriber Identification Module (SIM) card. The configuration information may be preprogrammed onto the SIM card. Alternatively, the SIM card may include initial session information allowing the remote embedded wireless communication module to establish a communication session with a central server, and download the configuration information. As another alternative, the initial session information may be transmitted to the remote embedded wireless communication module via a Short Message System (SMS) transmission.

    Abstract: Disclosed is a method and system for generating a graphical output display of a family tree and a graphical output display of a chronological timeline, which are displayed in conjunction with each other. The result is an aesthetically pleasing display, including family member names and dates, as well as colorful images, photographs of family members, and photographs of significant people and events that have taken place at specific dates on the timeline. Dates on the family tree output are synchronized with the dates on the chronological time line.
