  • Publication number: 20250030909
Abstract: An example system includes an in-vehicle content-delivery system (CDS) on a vehicle storing a library of content, and a content server including a content portal. The content portal may receive a request for a customized content manifest from the CDS, identify the vehicle, identify a customized content manifest, and provide the customized content manifest to the CDS. The customized content manifest may include a list of content customized for an itinerary and/or the vehicle, and wherein the customized content manifest differs from another content manifest customized for a different itinerary and/or a different vehicle. The CDS may remove first content from the library of content when the first content is not included in the list of content, and load second content to the library of content when the second content is included in the list of content and not already present in the library of content.

  • Publication number: 20220098001
Abstract: A vessel-supportable flexible-elongate-element spooling system (100) for spooling a flexible elongate element (12). The system comprises a container (14) having an internal volume defined by a radially inner barrier (22), a radially outer barrier (24), and a base (26). A flexible-elongate-element feeder (18) feeds the flexible elongate element (12) towards the base (26) of the container (14). A flexible-elongate-element force applicator (20) applies a force to the flexible elongate element (12) to retain a curvature imparted to the flexible elongate element (12) on discharge from the flexible-elongate-element feeder (18). The curvature is at least in part defined by the inner barrier (22) and/or the outer barrier (24).

  • Publication number: 20070254711
Abstract: A remote embedded wireless communication module obtains configuration information by accessing a Subscriber Identification Module (SIM) card. The configuration information may be preprogrammed onto the SIM card. Alternatively, the SIM card may include initial session information allowing the remote embedded wireless communication module to establish a communication session with a central server, and download the configuration information. As another alternative, the initial session information may be transmitted to the remote embedded wireless communication module via a Short Message System (SMS) transmission.
