  • Patent number: 8007259
Abstract: The invention relates to an eccentric screw pump and a method for its operation. Unlike the previously known prior art, where changes to the internal geometry of the pump stator caused by wear were always remedied with radially acting clamping measures, the invention is based on bringing this about by a change in the length of the lining.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: September 8, 2006
Date of Patent: August 30, 2011
    Assignee: NETZSCH-Mohnopumpen GmbH
Inventors: Johann Kreidl, Hisham Kamal, Mikael Tekneyan, Michael Robby, Helmuth Weber
  • Patent number: 7618246
Abstract: The aim of the invention is to improve the sealing possibilities between the elastic stator lining and corresponding connecting flanges of eccentric screw pumps. In order to increase the sealing surfaces, the stator lining comprises, at least at one of its ends, a conical sealing surface which may be provided with one or more prominent or recessed parts.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: February 7, 2007
Date of Patent: November 17, 2009
    Assignee: Netzsch-Mohnopumpen GmbH
Inventors: Herbert Frisch, Franz Lachenwitzer, Michael Robby

  • Patent number: 7137795
Abstract: A stator for an eccentric spiral pump comprises a hollow body of an elastic material which has a casing comprising a plurality of segments extending in a longitudinal direction of the casing. Adjacent segments are interconnected along longitudinal sides at variable angles to each other, so that the segments enclose an entire circumference of the casing. Surfaces of the segments are of a planar configuration, so that a closed casing of polygonal cross-section is formed by the interconnected segments. The hollow body of elastic material is of a matching polygonal cross-section to achieve positive contact with the casing.

  • Patent number: 7104770
Abstract: The present invention relates to the arrangement of a stator and a spare stator. In order to avoid a permanent correction in the length of the driving shaft, the spare stator is connected to the instantaneously operated stator or is configured in a single piece. Upon occurrence of a defined amount of wear, this stator combination is merely reversed through 180° relative to the longitudinal axis or an intermediate tube is inserted so that the spare stator arrives in the rotor region.

  • Publication number: 20040057846
Abstract: The present invention relates to an eccentric screw-type pump. Due to their contact with the product to be pumped, the rotor and the stator of an eccentric screw-type are subject to a permanent wearing process. As the exchange of corresponding components subject to wear involves down times or requires special tools, the inventive eccentric screw-type pump is provided with a spare unit including, in particular, the stator, the rotor, the shaft, the driving shaft and the seal.
