Abstract: A wearable camera activated security accessory including a motion sensor activated camera. The motion sensor is activated when motion takes place proximal to a wearer of the accessory. As a result, a camera is activated in response to the activation of the motion sensor. Facial information of a person causing the activation of the motion sensor is then acquired and recorded. The facial information is acquired using facial recognition techniques. Acquired facial information is then sent to a remote server that is accessible by both a mobile phone application and/or authorities.
