  • Patent number: 10815257
Abstract: The present invention relates to a novel crystalline hemihydrate polymorph of neridronic acid sodium salt, and a novel process for the preparation thereof comprising the steps of: 1) dissolving solid sodium neridronate in any crystalline form in water, at a temperature in the range from 70 to 90° C., to obtain an aqueous solution of sodium neridronate; 2) adding a solvent selected from the group consisting in ethanol, 1-propanol, and 2-propanol to the aqueous solution obtained from step (1), so that the final water:solvent volume ratio is in the range from 1:0.5 to 1:1, thus obtaining a suspension; 3) placing the suspension obtained from step (2) under mechanical stirring, at a temperature in the range from 60 to 95° C.; 4) recovering the crystalline hemihydrate form F of sodium neridronate formed in the previous step (3).

  • Publication number: 20200292902
Abstract: Described herein is a process for switching an electrochromic cell including at least a first electrode layer and a second electrode layer. The cell also includes an ion-conducting layer that separates the first and second electrode layers and a temperature sensor for measuring a temperature in or on or in the vicinity of the electrochromic cell. Moreover, a first contact member is electronically connected with the first electrode layer, and a second contact member is electronically connected with the second electrode layer. Furthermore, at least the first electrode layer includes an organic polymer matrix and, dispersed therein, an electrochromic material, electronically conductive nanoobjects, and an electrolyte dissolved in a solvent. Further, the process including measuring the current flowing through the cell if a voltage is applied to the electrode layers, applying a voltage to the contact members, and varying the applied voltage as a function of the current.

  • Publication number: 20200259772
Abstract: A message management service allows a user to access and manage messages from various message services. The user can access the message management service using a message management client application executing on a client device and can draft messages using the message management client application and send the messages through the different message services. The message management service can add information to messages sent using the message management client application that can be used to identify and organize the messages. A secure sent-message identifier can be added to messages sent by the message management service to reliably indicate that the messages were sent by the message management service.

  • Publication number: 20200139840
Abstract: A mobile device reads a near-field communication (NFC) tag of an electric vehicle supply equipment (EVSE). The NFC tag is encoded with an identifier of the EVSE. The mobile device transmits a charging session authorization request to a server to request authorization for a charging session at the EVSE, the request including the identifier of the EVSE and an access identifier of the electric vehicle operator. The server determines whether to grant authorization for the charging session. If granted, the server transmits a command to the EVSE to allow the charging session.

  • Patent number: 10594641
Abstract: Filtering rules for incoming messages can be dynamically generated by a message management service based on patterns in the user's behavior. The message management service can analyze event records associating user actions with features of messages to detect correlations between message features and resulting actions, including correlations across multiple messaging accounts belonging to the same user. Based on correlations, the message management service can provide a suggested rule to the user's client device, and the user can accept or decline the suggestion.

  • Publication number: 20190216058
Abstract: Consumable feed products and vegetation are delivered to animals using a single container in which the container holds the feed product and is used to deliver the feed and which includes ungerminated seeds embedded in the container body. The seeds are caused to germinate and produce vegetation from the container body, and the germinated seeds and/or vegetation is fed to the animal. Multiple containers may be used simultaneously so that while the consumable feed product from one container is used to feed an animal, another container may be used to grow vegetation or deliver vegetation to the animal. Confined birds such as poultry and chicks may benefit from ingesting feed and vegetation produced from such containers.

  • Patent number: 10122665
Abstract: A message management service that acts as intermediary between a messaging service and a client device can generate a synchronization data bundle for a message that includes an external message identifier usable to retrieve the message from the messaging service. The message management service can send the synchronization data bundle to the client along with the message, and the client can store the synchronization data bundle for each message in its local data store. The client can later return the synchronization data bundle to the message management service, which can use information contained therein to facilitate synchronization and related operations.
