  • Patent number: 9442717
Abstract: Techniques for automatically identifying input files used to generate output files in a software build process are provided. In one embodiment, a computer system can execute one or more build commands for generating output files for a software product, where the software product is associated with a build tree comprising various input files. The computer system can further intercept system calls invoked during the execution of the one or more build commands and can collect information pertaining to at least a portion of the intercepted system calls. The computer system can then create a dependency graph based on the collected information, where the dependency graph identifies a subset of input files in the build tree that are actually used by the one or more build commands to generate the output files.
    Type: Grant

  • Publication number: 20080059482
Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for analysis of financial and business information based on interactive data, such as XBRL data. According to one embodiment, an intelligent financial and business information reporting application includes methods to allow the results of many companies to be more efficiently compared by regulators, investors, and other consumers of XBRL data. Embodiments of the present invention also provide more sophisticated reporting by “deriving” facts for elements (concepts) for which there are no direct facts, but for which there is information in the calculation linkbase to allow “calculated facts” to be determined.

  • Publication number: 20070203390
Abstract: The invention involves enhancing brain function by stimulating the brain using magnetic fields. Applications of the new methods include improving the condition of individuals with cognitive disorders, such as depression, and studying the effects of neural stimulation using induced electric fields. These techniques can avoid deleterious effects of psychotropic pharmaceutical treatments, and provide a relatively safe, comfortable, inexpensive means of direct cranial stimulation.
