Abstract: In one example, a memory having instructions thereon that when executed cause a 3D printing system to repeatedly form each of multiple successive layers of powdered build material on a platform and apply a functional agent to build material in each layer, create a pressure difference across a thickness of build material on the platform, and increase the pressure difference over an extent of build material on the platform as the build material on the platform gets thicker.

Abstract: A meat grill installation for preparing large quantities of meat, and a method of preparing such large quantities of meat. Embodiments of the meat installation comprise various features, including a detachable horizontal cylindrical carrier comprising a series of meat fixators, a motor, heaters, at least two position adapters for maintaining each individual heater at a predetermined distance from the cylindrical carrier, at least one temperature sensor, a conveyer belt located underneath the cylindrical carrier for receiving and transporting heated meat, a cutter for removing a slice of a predetermined thickness of meat from the detachable cylindrical carrier, and at least one controller for driving the motor, for maintaining and/or adapting a temperature of each individual heater, for driving the at least two position adapters, for receiving the sensor output, for providing feedback to at least one heater, and for controlling thickness of slices of meat.

Abstract: An oven for heating food products on a conveyor includes two chambers. A conveyor belt circulates within each chamber and between the chambers. Each chamber includes a drum oriented with a vertical axis, a motor for rotating the drum about the axis, and a conveyor belt having a length helically surrounding the drum. The conveyor belt has an infeed end and outlet end. A plenum is located within the chamber along an outer extent of the chamber and is curved substantially concentrically with the drum. The plenum forms a substantially closed air pathway having an inlet at one end and an outlet at an opposite end passing air into the first chamber. A fan is arranged to circulate air within the chamber and force air into the plenum inlet, through the plenum and out of the plenum outlet. A heat exchanger is arranged in the plenum to heat the air flowing within the plenum.
