  • Publication number: 20210188673
Abstract: The invention relates to a process for treating a waste lye of a lye scrub in which the waste lye is fed with oxygen or an oxygen-containing gas mixture and steam to an oxidation unit (1) and in the latter is subjected to a wet oxidation for a reaction time period at a first temperature level and a first pressure level, a three-phase component mixture, which comprises a gas phase, a liquid phase and solid particles, being removed from the oxidation unit (1) and subjected to a cooling and phase separation. It is provided that the three-phase component mixture in an unchanged composition is first subjected to an expansion from the first pressure level to a second pressure level and thereby cooled down to a second temperature level, and that the three-phase component mixture expanded to the second pressure level and cooled down to the second temperature level is subsequently subjected at least partly to a further cooling to a third temperature level and after that to a phase separation.

  • Publication number: 20200264164
Abstract: The present invention relates to an analytical process for the assessment of the genotoxic potential, also termed mutagenic or transforming activity, of an agent in respect to hematopoietic cells. The agent can be selected from natural and synthetic chemical compounds, and preferably from heterologous expression cassettes, e.g. contained in non-natural viral particles or non-natural viral nucleic acid constructs, e.g. nucleic acid constructs containing a viral element.

  • Patent number: 7797219
Abstract: A method, apparatus and system to performing an adjustment to an overall financial goal based on military benefits. The user data may include user information on a number of users. The military data may include military information on a number of military users among the number of users. The military information may include a branch of service, a military rank, a military activity status, a service start date, and a service component. The lookup data may include assumption information used. A financial goal assessment application may receive information from the user data, the military data, and the lookup data and to generate a financial goal assessment for at least one of a user or a spouse of the user.

  • Publication number: 20100183876
Abstract: The invention comprises a process for the production of a freely flowable homogenous powder form of a GLP-1 peptide analogue. The process is characterized in that a solution of the peptide analogue in an aqueous organic solvent that is preferably directly obtained from the chromatographic purification process, is subjected to a spray drying process and recovered in the form of a freely flowable homogenous powder.

  • Patent number: 7144741
Abstract: The invention relates to a process and apparatus for the determination of the parameters of a breath condensate using at least one sensor for the measurement of the parameters and an analysis unit with display for the measurement results. The at least one sensor (2) is positioned in a closed cassette (1), whereby the cassette includes storage containers (4, 5, 6) with flushing solutions and/or solutions for the conditioning of the at least one sensor and/or calibration solutions and/or compounds for the manufacture of a calibration solution and/or for the dilution of the sample solution and/or for elevation of the ion concentration or the conductivity of the sample solution. The storage containers (4, 5, 6) deliver their contents completely or in metered amounts into the cassette and/or onto the at least one sensor (2) under the action of means acting from the outside and through the cassette walls.

  • Publication number: 20030167598
Abstract: The trunk cover of an automobile is mounted via two four-joint hinges, positioned a certain distance from one another, such that it can pivot. Each of the four-joint hinges has a receptacle component, fixed to the vehicle body, to which first and second pivoted levers are mounted such that they can pivot. A bearing component, to which the trunk cover is fastened, is linked to the opposite end sections of the hinges. Further, a receptacle pin, which supports a leg spring, is fastened to the receptacle component. This spring includes a first spring leg attached to the receptacle pin such that it cannot rotate and a second, prestressed spring leg which lies adjacent to a tensioning pin of the second pivoting lever. Immediately after the trunk cover has been opened, an open end of the cover, which faces the vehicle body, is shifted upward.
