Publication number: 20240140292Abstract: A photovoltaic (PV) panel distribution device may include a housing assembly, an elevating system, or a movement mechanism. The housing assembly may store a PV panel in a predetermined orientation within a volume defined by the housing assembly. The elevating system may engage the PV panel to move the PV panel in a direction within the volume so as to position the PV panel in an initial removal position relative to the volume. The movement mechanism may apply a force on the PV panel in the initial removal position to move the PV panel to a final removal position to permit a user to retrieve the PV panel from the final removal position.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 26, 2023Publication date: May 2, 2024Inventors: Nathan Schuknecht, Nathan Stegall, Chris Rowland, Michael Corio, Jonathan Drake

Patent number: 11972112Abstract: A host IO devices directly implements host read operations on both local memory, and on peer memory via a PCIe non-transparent bridge. When a host read operation is received by a host IO device from a host, the host IO device uses an API to obtain the physical address of the requested data on the peer memory, and generates a PCIe Transaction Layer Packet (TLP) addressed to the address in the peer memory. The TLP addressed to an address in the peer memory is passed over the NTB to the peer compute node to retrieve the data stored in the addressed slot of peer memory. The requested data is returned to the host IO device over the NTB, stored in a buffer, and read out to the host to directy respond to the host read operation.Type: GrantFiled: January 27, 2023Date of Patent: April 30, 2024Assignee: Dell Products, L.P.Inventors: Jonathan Krasner, Ro Monserrat, Michael Scharland, Jerome Cartmell, James M Guyer, Scott Rowlands, Julie Zhivich, Thomas Mackintosh

Publication number: 20230254966Abstract: A printed circuit board includes a dielectric substrate; first and second conductive traces disposed on the dielectric substrate; and a compensation structure disposed in the first conductive trace. The compensation structure includes a compensation segment connected in line with the first conductive trace; and a dielectric layer on all or part of the compensation segment. The first and second conductive traces may form a differential signal pair. The compensation segment may limit one or more of signal skew, mode conversion from differential mode to common mode, and impedance variations caused by a bend in the differential signal pair.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 17, 2023Publication date: August 10, 2023Applicant: Amphenol corporationInventors: Michael Rowlands, Ali Hammoodi

Publication number: 20220352675Abstract: A connector for use with high speed signals. The connector may include lead frame assemblies in a connector housing. A lead frame assembly may include signal conductive elements and ground conductive elements disposed in a repeating pattern, and one or more corrugated sheets attached to the ground conductive elements. The corrugated sheets may extend more than half of the length of the signal conductive elements. Valleys of the corrugated sheets may be welded to the ground conductive elements with line welds. The line welds may extend over a large percentage of the length of the conductive elements. Such a configuration enables accurately and repeatedly establishing signal to ground spacing and therefore promotes high signal integrity, even for miniaturized connectors. Such a connector may be used to meet signal integrity requirements in connectors designed for 112 GBps and beyond.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 28, 2022Publication date: November 3, 2022Applicant: Amphenol CorporationInventors: Arkady Y. Zerebilov, Michael Rowlands, Theron Ensminger, Jeremy Shober
