Abstract: A dual function beverage container and mixing apparatus is disclosed that can be assembled in a various configurations suitable for various functions in storing, transporting, dispensing, mixing and drinking beverages, such as, for example, mixed alcoholic and non-alcoholic cocktails. The dual function beverage container and mixing apparatus can have a container portion, an intermediate portion and a top portion. In a first configuration, the container portion, intermediate portion and top portion can be assembled to form a selectively re-sealable container, suitable to storing, transporting and/or dispensing a beverage. In a second configuration, the top portion and intermediate portion can be re-assembled to form a beverage shaker for mixing a beverage, such as, for example, a mixed alcoholic cocktail consisting of two or more ingredients.
