  • Publication number: 20100224100
Abstract: Three-dimensional paint compositions comprise a urethane dispersion and a thickener present in effective amounts to allow the composition to retain three-dimensional stability. The three-dimensional paint compositions are phthalate-free. A system also provides a dispenser or applicator for applying the three-dimensional paint compositions. The three-dimensional paint compositions are preferably toy products intended primarily for use by parents, teachers, and children. Methods for making three-dimensional paint compositions include combining a urethane dispersion and a thickener to form a mixture, and alternatively adding, for example, a coloring agent, preservative, biocide, or combinations thereof.

  • Patent number: 6210471
Abstract: A marking composition suitable for marking colored substrates, especially dark substrates, is disclosed. The marking composition comprises a wax, a fatty acid, a reflecting filler, and a colorant selected from an oil soluble dye, an oil dispersable dye, or an oil dispersable pigment. A defoamer and a non-reflecting filler can be optionally included in the marking composition. For example, the marking composition can be provided in the form of crayons, colored pencils, and the like. A method of providing a mark on a colored substrate is also disclosed.

  • Patent number: 6101186
Abstract: A method, apparatus and system are disclosed for organizing data packets in a relational database based on data events. As used herein, a data event has an event start time, an event stop time, and one or more event data indicators. In a process embodiment of the invention, a data packet is read to determine its start time, its stop time, and each of its data indicators. The data packet is then inserted into a particular data event in the relational database if each of the packet's data indicators matches each data indicator of the particular data event, and if the difference between either the event's stop time and the packet's start time or the packet's stop time and the event's start time does not exceed a certain limit. Otherwise, the data packet is added as a new event in the relational database.
