Abstract: A sealed package includes first and second opposed plies, each with first and second edges, wherein the first edges of the first and second plies have overlying sections that form a first seal, and wherein the second edges of the first and second plies have overlying sections that form a second seal; the first and second plies include polymeric film. A score line is present adjacent the second seal, the score line only partially penetrating the first ply and extending less than a full width of the first ply.
