  • Publication number: 20080192860
Abstract: The present invention relates to pre-distortion in transmitter circuits and provides a circuit for introducing pre-distortion into the output of a transmitter, wherein said pre-distortion comprises a pre-cursor, a cursor and a post-cursor, the circuit comprising: a first driver arranged to switch an output drive between said pre-cursor and said cursor; a second driver arranged to switch an output drive between said post-cursor and said cursor; a third driver arranged to switch an output drive between a positive cursor drive and a negative cursor drive. The arrangement provided give flexibility when setting the pre-cursor, cursor and post-cursor levels.

  • Patent number: 6473907
Abstract: A dual-visor cap assembly includes a cap having a crown portion, a first visor, and a second visor. The first visor is secured to the lower peripheral edge of the crown portion at the front of the crown portion. The second visor is secured to and carried by an adjustable length strap that passes through strap loops on the crown portion so that the strap and second visor are rotatively and detachably mounted on the crown portion adjacent the lower peripheral edge of the crown portion. The second visor is normally located at the front of the crown portion, centered and resting on the first visor, but can be selectively moved from the centered position on the first visor to either side to shade a wearer's face from a selected side while the first visor continues to shade the wearer's face from the front.

  • Patent number: 5965958
Abstract: A circuit for reducing a potential difference between terminals of an open switch. A current source is arranged to supply charges to a capacitor through first and second switches. Charge is being supplied to the capacitor only when the first switch is closed. The current source and the capacitor are maintained at first and second reference potentials, respectively. The circuit further includes a voltage follower which has its output connected to the second switch and one of its inputs connected to the capacitor and the other input connected to its output. The output of the voltage follower is at the same potential as one terminal of the first switch so that when the second switch is closed, the two terminals of the first switch are at the same potentials as each other.
