  • Patent number: 10099855
Abstract: A trash bag cinch device and method of use are provided for securing a trash bag to a trash can. According to one embodiment, the cinch device includes a collar, and the collar includes a base with teeth and a cuff with teeth. The cuff is moveable between an open position and a closed position and, when the cuff is closed, the base and the cuff describe an opening. And, when closed the base teeth and cuff teeth generally point toward the opening. The cinch device further includes a clamp adapted to secure the cinch device to a trash can rim. When thus positioned, a portion of the trash bag may be threaded through the opening and held by the teeth, thus securing the trash bag to the trash can.

  • Publication number: 20110313942
Abstract: Multiple departments of an organization can cooperate to simplify the testing process and enlarge the pool of qualified candidates for each department. Each department advertises for candidates, but requests that they also register at a website to apply to take a test rather than send any paperwork directly to the department. On the web site, candidates provide personal profile information, schedule a test at a test site in their area, and select their department preference. When the department is ready to interview candidates, a user logs in to the web site and downloads a tailored list of qualified candidates that have 1) met that department's predetermined hiring criteria, and 2) indicated they are willing to work at that department. The interviewer then contacts the candidates and proceeds with their normal application procedures.

  • Publication number: 20090054735
Abstract: A method including monitoring data associated with a plurality of non-operating room patients and simultaneously displaying data associated with each of the plurality of non-operating room patients in a single display. The method further includes determining whether an alert should be generated for a patient from the plurality of non-operating room patients at least partially based on data associated with the patient, the determining being further based on a comparison of a potential priority of the alert being at least partially based on the data associated with the patient; and generating an alert in substantially real-time for the patient, if it is determined that an alert should be generated for the patient. The method still further includes displaying the patient's specific data in a single screen in response to a request for the patient's data.

  • Publication number: 20020087420
Abstract: The present invention relates to an integrated selling system that synergistically combines highly visible product signage with an information retrieval system. The signage displays an identification character string, “code,” which specifically corresponds to the product being sold. The information retrieval system provides the seller with a designated section to input and store specific, detailed data relating to the product being sold. A potential buyer sees the signage on or near the product being sold and takes notice of the identification character string. By inputting this identification character string into the information retrieval system, the potential buyer gains access to specific, detailed information about that product. The combination of these two components significantly enhances the success rate of a seller finding potential buyers and providing them with the specific information necessary to complete the sale.
