  • Publication number: 20240130124
Abstract: An electronic device comprising a cell region comprising stacks of alternating dielectric materials and conductive materials. A pillar region is adjacent to the cell region and comprises storage node segments adjacent to adjoining oxide materials and adjacent to a tunnel region. The storage node segments are separated by a vertical portion of the tunnel region. A high-k dielectric material is adjacent to the conductive materials of the cell region and to the adjoining oxide materials of the pillar region. Additional electronic devices are disclosed, as are methods of forming an electronic device and related systems.

  • Patent number: 11739499
Abstract: An automated system for a machine can include a controller and a plurality of position sensors to deliver information regarding a position of a work tool of the machine to the controller; wherein the controller receives information regarding a location of a machine structure of the machine, and wherein the controller is configured to establish a first virtual boundary proximate to the machine structure in view of the information regarding the location of the machine structure; wherein the controller is configured to receive operator commands regarding one or more functions of the work tool of the machine; and wherein, when the work tool reaches the first virtual boundary, the controller inhibits one or more functions of the work tool while at the same time allowing other functions of the work tool.

  • Publication number: 20030074029
Abstract: An implantable stimulator and monitor measures a group of heart failure parameters indicative of the state of heart failure employing EGM signals, measures of blood pressure including absolute pressure P, developed pressure (DP=systolic P−diastolic P), and/or dP/dt, and measures of heart chamber volume (V) over one or more cardiac cycles. These parameters include: (1) relaxation or contraction time constant tau (&tgr;); (2) mechanical restitution (MR), i.e., the mechanical response of a heart chamber to premature stimuli applied to the heart chamber; (3) recirculation fraction (RF), i.e., the rate of decay of PESP effects over a series of heart cycles; and (4) end systolic elastance (EES), i.e., the ratios of end systolic blood pressure P to volume V. These heart failure parameters are determined periodically regardless of patient posture and activity level.

  • Patent number: 4321455
Abstract: The process and apparatus according to the present invention includes positioning the tab portion(s) of a particular electrode grid and the connector portion of a terminal connector in working proximity to an arc welding apparatus, activating the torch and varying a magnetic field around the torch "flame" to alter the angular orientation of the "flame" relative to the torch tip for moving the "flame" in a generally elliptical pattern. As preferably embodied, a variable electromagnetic field is generated around the torch "flame" by at least four electromagnet probes positioned in oppositely disposed pairs around the torch which is a plasma arc welding apparatus. According to another aspect of the invention, the cell core is positioned adjacent the torch by moving the cell core towards the torch in a direction parallel to the longitudinal axis of the torch "flame".

  • Patent number: 4296546
Abstract: Apparatus for inserting a core member for an electrochemical cell into an open-ended cell casing, including: casing support means; a collet assembly comprised of annular segments movable relative to each other so as to fix the dimension of the perimeter of an interior guiding surface, the guiding surface preferably being radially inwardly tapered; and means for advancing the core member through the collet assembly and into the casing. The apparatus also comprises means for controlling the position of the annular segments of the collet assembly selectively to increase or decrease the perimeter of the guiding surface.
