Each side panel comprises a two-ply web of material and a continuous loop frame. One or more handles may be attached to the structure or formed within one or more of the side panels. A method of making and collapsing the structure is also disclosed.

Abstract: A semi rigid container comprising a plurality of generally rectangular side walls and a bottom wall attached to the bottom of each side wall. A plurality of flexible supporting frames are attached to each side wall to expand the container's open top and to brace the side walls into a free standing container for handy storage, transportation or disposal of refuse or other articles. A drawstring is provided along the top of the container for easy closure. The semi rigid container is made by attaching the flexible supporting frames to one or more sheets of flexible material, layering the sheet or sheets, and sealing the open margins of the layered sheet or sheets corresponding to the container's sides and bottom. The semi rigid container can be easily collapsed into a stack of side walls, then coiled into three adjacent loops and inserted into a storing receptacle.

Abstract: A collapsible drying apparatus and method for forming and collapsing such apparatus, said apparatus comprising a frame having an expanded state and a collapsed state, a web substantially stretched over the frame, at least one support member coupled to the frame, and a strap having its ends coupled to the web, including a releasable fastener located a predetermined distance from one of the ends of the strap, and having adjustable length to apply a corresponding tension to the frame and the web, biasing the apparatus into a convexly arcuate condition.

Abstract: Novel beta lactam compounds having potent elastrase inhibition activity are disclosed. These compounds are characterized by the general structural formulae I, II, and III: ##STR1## These compounds are further characterized such that X and Y are each --S-- or --CH.sub.2 --, with at least one of X and Y being --S--, or alternatively, X is --SO-- or --SO.sub.2 -- and Y is --CH.sub.2 --; R.sup.1 is hydrogen, tri(lower alkyl)silyl, --COOR" or --CONHR"', wherein R" and R"' are each lower alkyl or phenyl(lower alkyl), and may be the same or different; R.sup.3 is hydrogen, lower alkyl or (lower alkyl)oxy; one of B and D is (lower alkyl)oxycarbonyl, (lower alkenyl)oxycarbonyl, allyloxycarbonyl or phenyl(lower alkyl)oxycarbonyl; and the other of B and D is hydrogen or lower alkyl.The compounds are useful as anti-inflammatory agents, particularly in the treatment of adult respiratory distress syndrome and rheumatoid arthritis.
