  • Publication number: 20220020491
Abstract: A system for providing role-based data feeds for a plurality of patient caregivers includes a portable central device and a patient data display screen. The central device is configured to obtain the medical data via one or more sensors and/or electrodes configured to couple to the patient and provide the medical data to mobile devices, optionally as multiple role-based data feeds. The central device may include software and hardware configured to feed the medical data to the mobile devices via multiple role-based data feeds. The patient data display screen is configured to display the medical data. Each mobile device may identify an associated type of medical data by displaying a screen enabling a caregiver to select the associated type of medical data based on their role, or may receive a respective role-based data feed from the central device. Each mobile device is configured to display the received medical data.

  • Publication number: 20220020490
Abstract: A system for providing patient information collected by a medical device includes a first display device separate from and communicatively coupled to only one patient monitoring device via a wireless connection. The patient monitoring device includes a second display device configured to display the patient information gathered by the patient monitoring device during use to treat and/or monitor the patient. The first display device is configured to receive the patient information from the patient monitoring device in real-time via the wireless connection, provide a first data view of the patient information that includes information displayed in real-time by the patient monitoring device at the second display device, and provide a second data view according to a user-selected display mode for the patient information. A graphical user interface at the first display device enables a user to toggle between the first data view and the second data view.

  • Publication number: 20200206517
Abstract: A system for providing clinical decision support during a clinical encounter with a patient includes a mobile computing device and a remote computing device communicatively coupled to and remotely located from the mobile computing device, the remote computing device configured to receive clinical data during the clinical encounter from a medical device associated with the patient, provide a first interactive display including the clinical data, enable the mobile computing device to access the clinical data, receive user input based on the clinical data from the mobile computing device, and provide the user input and the clinical data at the first interactive display, where the mobile computing device is configured to access the clinical data, provide the clinical data at a second interactive display, prompt a user for the user input based on the clinical data via the second interactive display, and transmit the user input to the remote computing device.

  • Patent number: 9716203
Abstract: The present invention provides a method for forming metal nanoparticle(s) onto an inner surface of one or more open volume defects within a substrate by providing the substrate containing the one or more open volume defects, depositing an immiscible metal on a surface of the substrate, and forming the metal nanoparticle(s) by diffusing the immiscible metal from the surface onto the inner surface of each open volume defect using a heat treatment. The method can be used to produce a substrate having at least one open volume defect with a metal nanoparticle formed onto an inner surface of the open volume defect, a solar cell, an optical switch, a radiation detector, or other similar device.

  • Publication number: 20160175964
Abstract: A welding vision and control system generates composite images that can image bright features as well as darker features in a welding region of a welding process in a single composite image or in a video stream of composite images for use in manual as well as automated control of the welding system. A plurality of raw images are generated from exposure time periods that occur during specific phases of a cyclical power waveform that powers the welding system. The exposure time periods can be triggered by detection of threshold levels of an electrical characteristic in the cyclical power waveform or by time delays. Certain features in the weld occur during specific phases of the cyclical power waveform, and such features can be isolated and viewed in video displays in real time by creating the exposure time periods during those specific phases.

  • Patent number: 4858156
Abstract: Apparatus for examining the shape and/or dimensions of an object wherein an object is fed to a test station (12) on a stepping conveyor (14), the object is illuminated within the test station and scanned by two linear charge-coupled camera devices (18, 20) acting in mutually perpendicular directions across and along the conveyor. Logic circuitry processes the video signals to provide raw measurement signals fed into a microprocessor for analyzing the signals and for providing control signals for a downstream reject mechanism.
