  • Publication number: 20240147897
Abstract: A utility vehicle having a magnetic panel movably and removably coupled thereto. The vehicle includes a frame carrying a prime mover and ground engaging members operatively attached to the frame. The vehicle also include includes a panel extending between a first end region and a second end region. The first end region of the panel is operatively coupled to the frame such that panel is both movably and removably attached to the frame. One or more magnets are positioned between the portion of the frame and an inner surface of the panel proximate the second end region of the panel such that the second end region of the panel is adapted to be removably couplable to the control tower via the one or more magnets.

  • Patent number: 11965107
Abstract: A system for applying a coating composition is provided herein. The system includes a first high transfer efficiency applicator defining a first nozzle orifice and a second high transfer efficiency applicator defining a second nozzle orifice. The system further includes a reservoir. The system further includes a substrate defining a first target area and a second target area. The first high transfer efficiency applicator and the second high transfer efficiency applicator are configured to receive the coating composition from the reservoir and configured to expel the coating composition through the first nozzle orifice to the first target area of the substrate and to expel the coating composition through the second nozzle orifice to the second target area of the substrate.

  • Patent number: 11968811
Abstract: An industrial automation controller includes a housing with a forced convection chamber. First and second fans are releasably connected to the housing and are adapted to induce airflow through the forced convection chamber. The first and second fans are each connected to the housing by respective first and second latch systems that each include a primary latch and a secondary latch. The secondary latch imposes a time delay during removal and replacement of a fan to facilitate hot swapping of the fan with a replacement fan. A make-last/break-first contact system is provided for each fan such that the fan is shutdown in a controlled manner prior to removal of the fan from the housing. The controller monitors internal temperature and fan speed. The controller initiates, logs, and reports fault conditions based upon the monitored temperature and/or fan speed. The controller is shut down if the monitored temperature exceeds a select temperature level.

  • Patent number: 11165173
Abstract: An externally switchable lid for securing to a utility tracer wire access housing and for selectively conductively engaging and disengaging a buried ground rod in order to locate a utility line via the tracer wire. The lid has a first surface supporting a switch and a second surface supporting a first terminal for connecting a tracer wire directly to the lid and the first terminal having a first end of a switch jumper fixedly secured thereto and a second terminal for connecting a ground wire to the ground switch. A locking mechanism is provided for securing the lid to the access housing while the lid is accessible above-ground. The lid connects to the access housing which has a length of the tracer wire and the ground wire extending from connection with the lid and extending underground.

  • Patent number: 10123294
Abstract: A method of synchronizing the transmission and receipt of messages by radios within a wireless communications network. It is assumed that the radios have chip scale atomic clocks, which are externally synchronized, such as by GPS, but only at the beginning of a mission. Each radio defaults to a sleep mode, in which its receive and transmit circuitry is inactive. Each radio stores a channel plan of pre-determined base transmit times, and calculates a worst case time drift between clocks and a propagation delay value between combinations of radios. At each base transmit time, if a radio has an outgoing message to transmit, it subtracts propagation delay from the base transmit time, and transmits only at that time. Also, for each base transmit time, each radio subtracts time drift, thereby determining a receive time window during which it listens for messages from other radios.
