  • Patent number: 9384580
Abstract: Methods and systems for generating images. One system includes a processor. The processor is configured to receive image generation settings, receive projection data generated by a CT scan of an object, and automatically generate a first three-dimensional data set based on the projection data, wherein the first three-dimensional data set has a first field-of-view of the object. The processor is also configured to automatically generate a second three-dimensional data set based on the projection data and the image generation settings. The second three-dimensional data set has a second field-of-view of the object smaller than the first field-of-view in at least one dimension. In one embodiment, the second three-dimensional data set is transmitted to a service provider over at least one network.
    Type: Grant

Date of Patent: July 5, 2016
    Assignee: DENTAL IMAGING TECHNOLOGIES CORPORATION
Inventors: Robert Keating, Michael Parma, Richard H. Elvin, Edward S. Walsh, Douglas Tenney, Michael S. O'Donnell, George Cocco
  • Patent number: 9305347
Abstract: Systems and methods for inspecting data generated during a scan of an object. One system includes a processor. The processor is configured to receive projection data generated by a CT scan of an object, generate a three-dimensional, volumetric data set based on the projection data, and automatically generate a plurality of cinematic frames of a cinematic sequence based on the three-dimensional, volumetric data set. Each of the plurality of cinematic frames has a different value for at least one parameter. The processor is also configured to automatically generate a signal to display the cinematic sequence in a frame-by-frame manner. In some embodiments, the processor continuously displays the cinematic sequence until a user accepts the three-dimensional, volumetric data set or stops the cinematic sequence (e.g., to perform a manual inspection of the three-dimensional, volumetric data set and/or re-initiate a scan of the object).

  • Patent number: 5064507
Abstract: High purity phenol is obtained from cleavage of cumene hydroperoxide by treating the crude phenol product stream in a first treatment zone with an amine, a coarse distillation to obtain an overhead stream comprising phenol, alpha-methyl styrene, cumene, and impurities, and steam distillation of the overhead stream in combination with addition of an amine to the steam distillation column for a second amine treatment step.

  • Patent number: 4715394
Abstract: A normally open gas supply safety valve sensitive to earthquake accelerations on x, y and z axes to displace a ball valve restrained by an arcuate groove with edges over which the ball valve rolls onto a seat for positive shut-off, including an abutment to ensure ball movement onto the seat, and including a leveler for installation.
