Abstract: A water flow control system ensures that water does not undesirably flow through water lines of the premises when the premises is unoccupied or when water usage is not desired (e.g., during sleeping hours). The water flow control system is generally operable with an alarm system to control water flow through the water lines of the premises. For example, the alarm system may include a user interface operable to receive input that establishes a state of occupancy for the premises and arms the alarm system. A sensor may detect occupancy of the premises regardless of the established state of occupancy. The water flow control system communicates with the sensors of to determine the actual occupancy within the premises and restrict the water flow to the premises when it is not desired.
