  • Patent number: 11557951
Abstract: A generator for generating energy is described. The generator includes a first shielding disk having alternating first disk regions of magnetic shielding and non-shielding. One or more conductive wires are located axially below the first shielding disk. Each conductive wire has one end that crosses through a first disk region of magnetic shielding. The generator also includes a first magnet located axially above the first shielding disk such that a first pole is of the first magnet is directed towards the first shielding disk and the conductive wire and a second magnet located axially above the first shielding disk such that a second pole is of the second magnet is directed towards the first shielding disk. The second pole is opposite the first pole of the first magnet. Methods of using the generator are also described.

  • Publication number: 20040113483
Abstract: A method of applying a decorative wheel cover to a wheel rim is provided. An uncured precursor composition having a quantity of spacer particles therein is applied to the rear face of the wheel cover or an outboard surface of the wheel rim, and the wheel cover and rim are then press-fit together, sandwiching the precursor composition therebetween. The precursor composition is preferably a moisture-cured silicone composition. The wheel cover is press-fit to the wheel rim until further compression is prevented due to the presence of the spacer particles. The resulting precursor composition layer has a uniform thickness and is cured to provide an adhesive layer having the corresponding uniform thickness. A kit for practicing the method, as well as a wheel are also provided.

  • Patent number: 6551425
Abstract: A self-adhesive reinforced foam gasket comprising a release liner having an upper surface which is a release surface, a layer of pressure sensitive adhesive applied to the release surface, a layer of flexible polymeric film, preferably polyester film, applied to the pressure sensitive adhesive layer, and a layer of flexible foam, preferably closed cell PVC flexible foam, thermally bonded to the flexible polymeric film layer. A length of material for die-cutting the gasket therefrom is provided, along with a method of making the length of material. The gasket may be used in automobiles and other applications.

  • Patent number: 6451398
Abstract: A double-sided self-adhesive reinforced foam tape comprising a release liner having upper and lower surfaces which are release surfaces, a first layer of pressure sensitive adhesive applied to the upper release surface, a layer of flexible polymeric film, preferably polyester film, applied to the first pressure sensitive adhesive layer, a layer of flexible foam, preferably closed cell PVC flexible foam, thermally bonded to the flexible polymeric film layer, and a second layer of pressure sensitive adhesive applied to the flexible foam layer. A length of material for use as a double-sided tape is provided, along with a method of making the length of material. An alternative embodiment, suitable for die-cutting, including a second release liner applied to the second pressure sensitive adhesive layer is provided. The tape may be used in automobiles and other applications.
