Abstract: A method of marking a product such as a coconut includes providing a laser light emitter configured to produce powered laser light having a user-specified spectrum and intensity. A bracket base is provided that includes a workframe interface configured to stabilize the bracket relative to a workframe, and the bracket base defines at least one receiving socket sized to stabilize at least a portion of the food product relative to the bracket base. Programmable controllers trigger the laser light emitter and manipulates at least one servomotor to burn at least a portion of the graphical mark at least partially onto a surface of the food product in accordance with graphics-related data. An apparatus is also disclosed.
