  • Publication number: 20240316481
Abstract: A piping apparatus is provided, which comprises a strainer comprising a strainer housing including a strainer branch; wherein the strainer housing includes one or more pressure sensors; wherein, when a strainer element is in the strainer branch, at least one pressure sensor of the plurality of pressure sensors is fixed to the strainer housing at a location upstream of the strainer element and/or is fixed to the strainer housing at a location downstream of the strainer element.

  • Patent number: 12058158
Abstract: A method and system for intrusion detection to detect malicious insider threat activities within a network of user profiles. The method includes training a Neural Network on multiple sets of user profile data for multiple user profiles and on multiple sets of activity data of the multiple user profiles of the network, such that the Neural Network is capable of predicting for future dates activities for multiple user profiles. The method includes applying the trained Neural Network on the set of further user profile data of the further user profile, predicting an activity of the further user profile based on the multiple sets of activity data by the trained Neural Network, observing activity of the further user profile, applying the trained Neural Network on the observed activity, and detecting malicious activity for the further user profile by the trained Neural Network, if the observed activity deviates from the predicted activity.

  • Patent number: 9010279
Abstract: A multi-function pet leash system generally comprises a substantially rigid handle and a substantially rigid tether/carrier engaged with the handle. The tether/carrier may have one or more means for removable tethering and carrying of accessories, whereby with a pet attached to a leash engaged with the tether/carrier, a user may grasp the handle coupled to the leash through the tether/carrier and walk the pet while conveniently carrying one or more accessories. The handle may be disengaged from the tether/carrier and so serve a separate function, alone or in combination with one or more of the accessories.

  • Patent number: 8973564
Abstract: A recreational throwing apparatus comprises, in the exemplary embodiment, a handle portion and an engagement portion engaged with the handle portion and configured for selective frictional engagement with an engagement aperture of an object. Additionally, the engagement portion provides a means for substantially preventing rotation of the object about the engagement portion when engaged therewith. Thus, with the object frictionally engaged with the engagement portion in a desired orientation, the apparatus may be swung in a desired direction, causing the object to disengage and travel in the desired direction.

  • Publication number: 20050197536
Abstract: A video endoscope system includes a reusable control cabinet and an endoscope that is connectable thereto. The endoscope may be used with a single patient and then disposed. The endoscope includes an illumination mechanism, an image sensor, and an elongate shaft having one or more lumens located therein. An articulation joint at the distal end of the endoscope allows the distal end to be oriented by the actuators in the control cabinet or actuators in a control handle of the endoscope. Fluidics, electrical, navigation, image, display and data entry controls are integrated into the system along with other accessories.

  • Publication number: 20050075538
Abstract: An endoscopic imaging system includes a reusable control cabinet having a number of actuators that control the orientation of a lightweight endoscope that is connectable thereto. The endoscope is used with a single patient and is then disposed. The endoscope includes an illumination mechanism, an image sensor, and an elongate shaft having one or more lumens located therein. An articulation joint at the distal end of the endoscope allows the distal end to be oriented by the actuators in the control cabinet. The endoscope is coated with a hydrophilic coating that reduces its coefficient of friction and because it is lightweight, requires less force to advance it to a desired location within a patient.
