    Abstract: Fluidizing device that is structurally separate from a powder container (12) includes a housing (100) that defines an interior air volume and a portion of the housing is porous or permeable to air flow. The housing (100) is coupled to a source of air (104) and produces a distributed fluidization air flow (102) within the container (12). The device may be introduced into the container (12) either before, after or coincident with the introduction of powder into the container (12). The device can be easily removed from the container (12) for replacement, cleaning or as part of a color change operation.
