  • Publication number: 20160204668
Abstract: A machine includes a rotor and a stator disposed about an axis. The stator includes a ring disposed about the axis. A plurality of poles each extend radially from the ring and support a coil of a wire. Moldings insulate at least a portion of the plurality of poles from the wire. The moldings include a radially outer portion, a radially inner portion, a connector portion integral with the radially outer portion and the radially inner portion, and a tab on one of the radially outer portion and the radially inner portion. The wire is wrapped behind the tab between adjacent poles. A method of insulating and securing wire for coils formed on adjacent poles is also disclosed.

  • Patent number: 8936484
Abstract: An electrical connector interface comprises a plug connector assembly, a receptacle connector assembly, and an anti-rotation fastener receiving post. A plurality of spaced apart conductive contact sockets each have a mating end retained in a monolithic mating portion of a nonconductive plug connector shell body. A plurality of spaced apart conductive contact pins extend into a mating portion of a nonconductive receptacle connector shell body. The nonconductive plug and receptacle connector shell bodies each have an external mounting flange with a anti-rotation aperture. The anti-rotation fastener post has a first anti-rotation end insertable into either the plug anti-rotation aperture or the receptacle anti-rotation aperture.
