Patent number: 11591159Abstract: A charging and storage system provides a conveyor system within a housing that conveys electronic devices through the housing to charging devices located withing the housing. Charging contacts on an adjustment arm adjust between a charging position that charges the electronic devices and a transport position that allows movement of the electronic devices through the housing without contacting the charging contacts. A charging device located at each charging location charges the device while the device is stored within the housing. The conveyor system moves the electronic devices to these fixed charging locations to charge the devices while storing the devices. The conveyor system releases the electronic devices to an exit ramp that guides the electronic devices to a release aperture for removal from the housing.Type: GrantFiled: December 17, 2020Date of Patent: February 28, 2023Assignee: TECH FRIENDS, INC.Inventors: Bobby L Shipman, Jr., Bryan D. Taylor, Bobby L. Shipman, III, Joshua L. Parrish, Joseph Michael Schaefer, III, Mark Haney

Publication number: 20230055531Abstract: A clamping device for acting onto a medical tubing includes a clamp arrangeable on the medical tubing and displaceable between an open position in which the clamp unblocks the medical tubing and a close position in which the clamp closes the medical tubing. The clamping device further includes a drive system configured to act on the clamp for switching the clamp between the open position and the close position. The clamping device also includes a main control circuit and a secondary control circuit electronically independent from the main control circuit, and a relay switchable between a first position and a second position. In the first position, the relay electronically couples the drive system to the main control circuit while the drive system is electronically decoupled from the secondary control circuit. In the second position, the relay electronically couples the drive system to the secondary control circuit while the drive system is electronically decoupled from the main control circuit.Type: ApplicationFiled: August 18, 2022Publication date: February 23, 2023Inventors: Philipp Winter, Marcus Müller, Michael Schäfer, Lars Michel

Publication number: 20230039672Abstract: Techniques for encoding/decoding of video signals are described, e.g. implemented in decoders, encoder, methods and non-transitory storage units storing instructions to perform the methods. A decoder or encoder may be configured to predict a predetermined block of the picture using a plurality of neighbouring samples by reducing the plurality of neighbouring samples to obtain a reduced set of samples values lower, in number of samples, than compared to the plurality of neighbouring samples, subjecting the reduced set of sample values to a linear or affine linear transformation to obtain predicted values for predetermined samples of the predetermined block.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 7, 2022Publication date: February 9, 2023Inventors: Jonathan Pfaff, Philipp Helle, Michael Schaefer, Roman Rischke, Philipp Merkle, Tobias Hinz, Bjoern Stallenberger, Martin Winken, Mischa Siekmann, Heiko Schwarz, Detlev Marpe, Thomas Wiegand
