  • Publication number: 20230019663
Abstract: Fiberboard or chipboard is made by first comminuting vegetable starting material in a first comminutor into a stream of loose plant particles with silicate particles. Then, in a first classifier silicate particles of a diameter of less than 50 ?m are separated from the plant particles of the stream. The plant particles remaining in the stream are then glue-coated, and the stream is pressed into fiberboard or chipboard.

  • Publication number: 20220410503
Abstract: A method and a device for producing a component from a fiber composite material. The method includes introducing multiple layers of fibers impregnated with a matrix onto an inner mold, placing a membrane sealed against an outer mold onto the fibers impregnated with the matrix, such that a cavity extending along the shell surface of the outer mold forms between the outer mold and the membrane, and applying a temperature-controllable pressure fluid to the cavity at a temperature greater than the melting point of the matrix and at a pressure greater than the ambient pressure. To produce a component having at least one reinforcing layer, at least one reinforcing layer having fibers oriented in a predominantly parallel manner is placed locally onto a portion of a side of a the base layer facing the outer mold with the aid of an insertion device and a membrane with an average surface roughness of below 1.0 ?m, preferably below 0.1 ?m, subsequently exerts a set pressure in the cavity on the component.

  • Patent number: 8343290
Abstract: A rubber sheet is made from rubber-containing granules by first coating the rubber granules with a binder, then forming the coated rubber granules into a mat having a core layer with a low moisture level of less than 5% and a pair of outer surface layers, and then, without substantially increasing the low moisture level in the core layer, setting in at least one of the outer layers a high moisture level of 10% to 50% by weight and thereby imparting to the mat an inhomogeneous moisture profile. The mat with the inhomogeneous moisture level is then hot-pressed with pressure and heat so as to vaporize moisture in the one outer layer and drive steam into the core layer, and the hot-pressed mat is cured.
