  • Wedding gown cleaning and preservation system

    Abstract: At the point of purchase of the wedding gown, the customer is provided with a kit which includes a shipping box, either in folded or assembled form, order documents, prepaid shipping labels, a plastic bag, sealing tape with a moisture activated adhesive layer and instructions. When cleaning and preservation is desired, the order documents are filled out and put into the bag with the gown. The bag is placed in the box. The flaps of the assembled box are sealed by moistening the adhesive layer and applying the tape. The shipping labels are applied to the outside of the box and the box is shipped to the cleaning and preservation establishment.
