  • Patent number: 9751420
Abstract: The invention relates to a roller test bench-type charging device comprising driveable rollers for charging an electric energy store in a motor vehicle, in particular in an electric or hybrid vehicle, such that the energy store of a motor vehicle which is placed on said device and the wheels of an axle of which are connected to the rollers in a force-transmitting manner is charged via the motor vehicle alternator or a motor vehicle electric motor designed as a generator. A universal charging device can thereby be provided.

  • Patent number: 8981787
Abstract: A method is provided for detecting a state of a connection between an electrically driven motor vehicle (1) and a corresponding charging station. The motor vehicle (1) has a control pilot (CP) function with a vehicle-side control pilot (CP) line (3). The method includes using a power line communication (PLC) chip (2) of the motor vehicle (1) to measure the length of a control pilot line between the motor vehicle and the charging station.

  • Patent number: 8489263
Abstract: A vehicle has an apparatus (2) for charging an electrical energy store (3) from a stationary power supply system. An existing controller (6) of the vehicle is configured to calculate and indicate an amount of electrical energy drawn from the stationary power supply system by using a time information item provided in the vehicle controller (6). Alternatively, a battery management system (1) is configured to calculate and indicate the amount of electrical energy drawn from the stationary power supply system by using the time information item provided in the existing vehicle controller (6).

  • Publication number: 20110231072
Abstract: A method for triggering a signal for the separation of the drivetrain input section and drivetrain output section of a motor vehicle having an automatic clutch, characterized in that as a function of the change in clutch torque, and with a time (tSEP) being taken into consideration which can be applied and which indicates the time period required by the system from the triggering of the signal for separation of the clutch until the final separation of the drivetrain input section and drivetrain output section.

  • Publication number: 20070166101
Abstract: A protective shield or barrier for use with a motorcycle, automobile or other vehicle temporarily, e.g., seasonally, stored in a garage or other storage area is disclosed. In one embodiment, the vehicle shield is comprised of a plurality of panels formed from a semi-rigid material hingedly connected to form a foldable, stowable and protective barrier. The vehicle shield may be joined with one or more additional shields via a tab and slots to extend the length of the barrier. Stabilizer feet are provided to increase the stability of the free-standing barrier. The vehicle shield is a cost-effective barrier protection against dents, scratches and the like.
