  • Patent number: 10101185
Abstract: In order to perform a zero-point calibration of a measuring assembly according to the differential pressure principle, which measuring assembly has a measuring transducer having a measuring cell, which measuring transducer is connected to at least one evaluating unit and at least one communication unit with regard to signaling, the digital signals provided to a communication unit are recorded. At least one characteristic value relevant to the zero-point calibration is determined from the digital signals. The at least one relevant characteristic value at a first time is stored as a reference characteristic value. At a second time lying after the first time, at least one relevant characteristic value is determined as a current characteristic value. A comparison of the reference characteristic value and the current characteristic value is performed. A zero-point calibration of the measuring assembly occurs if the result of the comparison lies outside of a specified tolerance.

Date of Patent: October 16, 2018
    Assignee: S.K.I. GMBH

  • Publication number: 20060248791
Abstract: Carbonaceous materials are thermally upgraded in a pressurized steam environment to remove moisture and other byproducts. A variety of water/solid separation devices may be employed in a process vessel to maximize moisture removal from the upgraded charge. Heating media inlet nozzles and process chamber vents are strategically positioned at the process vessel wall to minimize short circuiting of heating media to vessel outlet vents and to continuously separate hot water removed from the charge and condensed steam, such that the upgraded material removed from the process vessel is not discharged with accompanying free moisture. After upgrading, the charge may be rehydrated to improve its stability during shipping and storage.

  • Patent number: 6554303
Abstract: The invention concerns an arrangement for carrying out steering angle or steering wheel angle measurements (&agr;) in motor vehicles. The arrangement uses a resolver for transmission purposes. Advantageous developments concern the use of the resolver for the additional transmission of switching information in both directions and for transmission of energy using frequency-separated or time-multiplexed transmission channels.

Abstract: The invention concerns an arrangement for carrying out steering angle or steering wheel angle measurements (&agr;) in motor vehicles. The arrangement uses a resolver for transmission purposes. Advantageous developments concern the use of the resolver for the additional transmission of switching information in both directions and for simultaneous transmission of energy using frequency-or time-division selected transmission channels.
