  • Publication number: 20250209930
Abstract: This invention relates to a modular learning device designed to enhance the storage and recall of information through an interactive mnemonic system. A grid system forming a three-dimensional cubic structure with multiple container-receiving locations. Container Units, dimensionally adapted for removable engagement with the grid system, are employed to store learning materials, including Association Trigger Items, which are essential to the mnemonic learning process. The device includes Information Overview Cards for annotating and visualizing relationships between learning content. The grid system utilizes a positioning code involving colours, numbers, and alphanumeric symbols for precise placement of Container Units. Optional components include Container Dividers for compartmentalizing the Container Units, Information Storage Bags for containing Association Trigger Items, and a Box for Cards for organized storage.

  • Patent number: 10174900
Abstract: A lighting apparatus for vehicles with a number of semiconductor-based light sources and a projection device for generating the specified light distribution with a cut-off line. The projection device features a correction device with at least two lenses. The surface of at least one of the lenses is designed as a diffractive lens surface for achromatization in a visible wavelength range. The two lenses are made from different lens materials. The surfaces of at least two lenses are designed as refractive lens surfaces that have their optical power calculated based on a temperature range and/or expansion coefficient of the lens material of at least two lenses such that adding the optical power of the lenses yields a predefined total optical power of the correction device.

  • Publication number: 20070165407
Abstract: The invention relates to a large-surface billboard for outdoors advertising. In order to generate a luminosity of the LCD elements of the billboard, extraneous light is required. In times of insufficient sun light, an artificial lighting device activates the luminosity. The aim of the invention is to prevent the lighting device from casting a shadow onto the billboard during daylight. For this purpose, the lighting device is moved out from its beam path incident on the billboard when there is sufficient solar radiation.

  • Publication number: 20040064988
Abstract: The invention relates to a poster suspension device comprising a poster sheet. Said poster sheet, while under longitudinal tension, can be displaced in a to and fro manner between rollers, which are arranged one above the other at a distance, and from roller to roller in a direction of transport. The poster sheet is comprised of at least two individual posters. The aim of the invention is to enable individual posters to be separated from the sheet or to be placed in the sheet. To this end, connecting means, which can be removed between the poster surfaces themselves as well as in their edge reinforcements, are provided between at least two individual posters that follow one another in the longitudinal direction of the poster sheet.

  • Patent number: 5485693
Abstract: A display device of the type having a plurality of parallel prisms that rotate intermittently and synchronously to present the surfaces of the different panels of each prism for view to provide different composite advertising designs. All the prisms are identical and each is formed with three identical panels that are rectangular and extend longitudinally of the prism. The panels have hinge sections formed integrally along their edges for meshing with hinge sections of adjacent panels in a piano-hinge-like arrangement. A removable hinge pin is disposed in at least one hinge connection so that upon removal of the hinge pin the adjacent panel can be swung open to allow access to the interior of the prism for changing a burned out illuminating device, such as a fluorescent or neon light.
