  • Patent number: 10940150
Abstract: The present invention relates to novel HSP27 inhibitors, in particular thymine derivatives according to general formula (VI), (VII) or (VII) and phenothiazine derivatives according to formula (V), and to their use as drugs for the selective inhibition of the heat shock protein HSP27 (HSPB1), in particular for use in the treatment of carcinomas or cystic fibrosis, said inhibitors having a particularly advantageous activity in the lower micromolar or sub-micromolar active ingredient concentration range with respect to HSP27.

  • Publication number: 20200265523
Abstract: Various embodiments are directed to systems and methods for tracking and managing compliance for a plurality of insurance policies on a plurality of properties or other collateral. Insurance, loan, and compliance information may be received and stored in a database. The database may be updated periodically based on new loan, insurance, and compliance information. Users may manage and track the changing compliance status of each loan and policy. Alerts may input, stored, and/or auto-generated to flag compliance issues. Communications such as compliance letters may be automatically generated according to a predetermined schedule based on compliance status. Supporting documents associated with compliance requirements may be stored and displayed to users to facilitate compliance tracking and management.

  • Patent number: 10651108
Abstract: Devices and methods disclosed herein can include a conductive foam having pores disposed within the conductive foam. The conductive foam can be compressible between an uncompressed thickness and a compressed thickness. The compressed thickness can be ninety-five percent or less of the uncompressed thickness. In one example, a filler can be disposed in the pores of the conductive foam. The filler can include a first thermal conductivity. The first thermal conductivity can be greater than a thermal conductivity of air.

  • Patent number: 10614227
Abstract: Vulnerable code allows outside actors to interfere with the normal operation of current systems. To help defend against these outside actors, it is desirable to identify vulnerabilities in existing systems, including systems where the original source code is not available for study. Described herein are methods for identifying functional attributes that change the intended operation of a compiled binary extracted from a target system.

  • Publication number: 20200103295
Abstract: Embodiments herein relate to systems, apparatuses, processing, and techniques related to may generally relate to a printed circuit board (PCB) with one or more strain gauges integrated into the PCB, where the strain gauges are to facilitate an evaluation of PCB integrity during operation of the PCB. The strain gauge may include discrete strain gauges integrated into the PCB at potentially critical stress points within the PCB. The strain gauge may include an electrically conductive daisy chain formation of solder bumps where a change in electrical resistance along the daisy chain formation indicates a strain on the PCB. The strain gauge may include one or more traces included in the PCB, where a change in electrical resistance along the one or more traces is to indicate a strain on the PCB.

  • Patent number: 10533630
Abstract: A belting connection for attaching a first end and a second end of belting. The belting has a thickness. The belting connection mechanism includes a first stepped region, a second stepped region and a first fastener. The first stepped region is proximate the first end. The first stepped region has a first aperture formed therein. The first stepped region has a first thickness. The second stepped region is proximate the second end. The second stepped region has a second aperture formed therein. The second stepped region has a second thickness. The first fastener extends through the first aperture and the second aperture to attach the first end to the second end. The first stepped region at least partially overlaps the second stepped region when the first end is attached to the second end. When the first end is attached to the second end, the first stepped region and the second stepped region have a combined thickness that is no greater than the thickness of the belting.

  • Publication number: 20190331111
Abstract: Particular techniques involve a device for wetting multiple threads with a fluid, and a dosing pump which is connected to the wetting means by multiple conveying lines. The dosing pump has multiple conveying means for generating multiple dosing flows of the fluid and has multiple pump outlets, to which the delivery lines are connected. The conveying means are formed by at least one planetary gear set arranged between housing plates. To achieve, as far as possible, a uniform throughflow without a significant dead space volume, multiple planet gears of the planetary gear set are guided freely by a centering plate between adjacent housing plates. The planet gears of the planetary gear set have in each case one passage opening, which are connected by a channel system to a central pump inlet. It is thus possible to realize close fits and flushing of gaps.

  • Patent number: 9949086
Abstract: A system, such as a security monitoring system, includes one or more devices at a physical space. Each device performs a function (e.g., security monitoring) at the physical space, and at least one is able to interact, via a network, with a mobile device. The system is automatically controlled based on a location of the mobile device. The system tracks the mobile device with a first tracking technique when located outside both a home region associated with the physical space and an active monitoring region that surrounds the home region, determines, based on the tracking information, whether the mobile device is within the active monitoring region, and switches to a second, different, tracking technique if it is determined that the mobile device is within the active monitoring region.
