  • Patent number: 9725277
Abstract: A take-up winding machine continuously coils a plurality of threads. The take-up winding machine has a plurality of rotatably mounted winding turrets which, in each case, support two protruding winding spindles and which are held beside one another in a machine frame so as to be spaced apart by a pitch. The take-up winding machine further has a plurality of traversing units and a plurality of contact rollers which together with the winding turrets form a plurality of coiling positions. The winding turrets are assigned one common turret drive. The winding turrets are configured so as to be drivable in the same direction. The contact rollers and the traversing units are held on the machine frame along one machine longitudinal side so as to be symmetrical to the pitch of the winding turrets.

  • Patent number: 7802977
Abstract: An apparatus for melt spinning and winding up synthetic yarns comprising a spinning appliance, a treating appliance and a windup machine. The treating appliance comprises a runoff godet for guiding the yarns before entry and distribution of the yarns into a plurality of winding stations in the windup machine, the runoff godet being arranged above the windup machine and guiding the yarns in a parallel side by side arrangement on its circumference. The runoff godet is arranged transversely to a winding spindle and above the windup machine, the windup machine comprising a plurality of head yarn guides which are disposed upstream of the winding stations and are arranged in a vertically oriented runup plane.

  • Patent number: 7322811
Abstract: An apparatus for spinning and winding a plurality of synthetic filament yarns, and which includes a spinning device, a withdrawal godet downstream of the spinning device, and a takeup device which has a plurality of winding positions that are distributed along a longitudinal axis. In the spinning device, a plurality of spinnerets are arranged in side-by-side relationship, each for spinning one yarn, and in the takeup device, each yarn is wound to a package at one of the winding positions. To provide a device that is compact and operator friendly, the spinning device and withdrawal godet are oriented in a transverse relationship with the longitudinal axis of the takeup device, and they are arranged in the region of the front end of the takeup device. With that, the distribution of the yarns from the spinning device to the winding positions can be readily accomplished.

  • Patent number: 7226286
Abstract: An apparatus for guiding, treating, or advancing at least one yarn (1), comprising a delivery roll (2) and a companion roll (3) cooperating with the delivery roll so that the yarn repeatedly loops the delivery roll (2) and the companion roll (3). The delivery roll and the companion roll are driven by associated electric motors (7, 8), which are controlled via control lines (9) at a desired frequency by a controller (10). To enable an equalization of the circumferential speeds of the delivery roll (2) and the companion roll (3), the electric motor of the companion roll is an asynchronous motor that is controlled by the desired frequency and has a motor slip.

  • Patent number: 6853309
Abstract: An electronic image reader (9) is associated to a supply meter (1), for example a water meter, for measuring and displaying a measured value in an optically readable manner. This image reader is adapted for being positioned or guided in guide systems above an inspection window (3) of the supply meter. The image reader (9) is provided with an optical system, that includes a lens (7), which is adapted to the optical configuration of the inspection window and to the optical situation, in particular the geometric position of a display (2) behind the inspection window. The supply meter includes an identification mark (12), which is also located in the region of a guide system, namely guide rails (6.2, 6.3), and which is arranged relative to the guide system such that it can be read with the image reader without changing its optical system.

  • Patent number: 6261080
Abstract: A spin beam for spinning a plurality of synthetic filament yarns with a melt distributor block, which acommodates a spin pump and a plurality of spinnerets. In accordance with the invention, the melt distributor block consists of two structural members, which are interconnected in pressure-tight manner. In a separating line formed between the structural members, distributor lines are formed by grooves, which connect each a melt channel leading from the spin pump to a melt channel leading to the spinneret.
