  • Publication number: 20250369911
Abstract: A cartridge for testing a sample is disclosed. In some examples, the cartridge includes a plurality of electrodes, a sample reservoir comprising an inlet and a sample gate, and at least one channel, wherein each channel of the at least one channel is in selective fluidic communication with the sample reservoir. In some examples, each channel of the at least one channel includes a channel gate, reagent reservoir, a reagent gate, a detection reservoir, and an analysis location. In some examples, the cartridge also includes a tip axis, and the tip axis is transverse to the at least one channel and a tilt axis of the cartridge.

  • Publication number: 20250332592
Abstract: A rotatable cartridge for testing a sample includes a sample reservoir at a center of the rotatable cartridge. The rotatable cartridge also includes a plurality of channels extending radially from the sample reservoir, wherein each of the plurality of channels is in fluidic communication with the sample reservoir. The rotatable cartridge additionally includes a reagent reservoir comprising a first barrier separating the reagent reservoir from at least one channel of the plurality of the channels, and wherein displacement of the first barrier allows fluidic communication between the at least one channel and the reagent reservoir. The rotatable cartridge further includes a detection reservoir comprising a second barrier separating the detection reservoir from the reagent reservoir, and wherein displacement of the second barrier allows fluidic communication between the reagent reservoir and the detection reservoir.

  • Publication number: 20250303645
Abstract: An ultrasonic weldment assembly is provided which includes a first plastic member having a first contact surface, a second plastic member having a second contact surface, and a membrane positioned between the first and second plastic members. An energy director tongue extends outwardly from the first contact surface of the first plastic member towards the second contact surface, where the energy director tongue welds the first and second plastic members to one another. The first and second plastic members each include a membrane tensioning feature adjacent to the energy director tongue configured to tension the membrane. Methods for ultrasonically welding an assembly together are also provided.
