    Abstract: An electric device includes a housing and a clamp. The housing has a port through which a cable is led. The clamp has inter-connectable first and second clamping bodies. Each clamping body has clamping ribs. The clamping bodies are interconnected to one another causing the clamping ribs to interlock with one another around the cable to thereby fix the clamp to the cable. The clamp is situated at an opening of the port with the clamping bodies being within the port and the clamp is fastened to the housing.
