Abstract: A digital processing system to communicate and track a template-based customized digital object including a mobile user terminal and a server. The terminal includes an RF interface to receive position location signals, a processor to determine a geographic location of the terminal from the position location signals, a second RF interface to exchange signals with a WAN, and user-interface means to display and to edit a digital object template. The server includes a WAN interface to receive a first signal indicating the geographic location of the mobile user terminal, and a second signal representing a media data object from the terminal, a template database to store the digital object template displayed on the user-interface means, a processor combining the digital object template with the media data object according to user commands, and a presentation module to present the customized digital object to a recipient user at another mobile user terminal.
