  • Publication number: 20260245712
Abstract: A grossing station having a built-in operating system to host multiple software and technology applications is disclosed. The grossing station software platform may be for use in integrating workflow technologies into an electronic health record. The grossing station software platform may comprise a host operating system that allows the independent loading, installation and validation of individually technology applications on a single grossing station. This may allow for the software platform to be loaded on a separate computer that is integrated into the grossing station. This may enable the installation and validation of the grossing station to be separately validated for any future medical device technology applications that might be added in the future. This may have the advantage of validating the connection to the electronic health records separately on the workbench platform versus having to validate every individual technology running on the workbench at the time of installation.

  • Patent number: 11471353
Abstract: A table for use in an autopsy, necropsy, pathology or dissection procedure, wherein the table comprises a base and a carrier rotatably connected to the base. The table also comprises a first tray arranged within the carrier and a second tray arranged within the carrier. The second tray is parallel to the first tray when in a first position and the second tray and the first tray having a predetermined sized gap arranged therebetween when the carrier is in a first position. The rotating autopsy table may allow for a single user of the table to perform an autopsy procedure on the front of a cadaver or body and then rotate the table on their own, such that the autopsy procedure may be continued on the back of the body without help from other equipment or other people to flip or turn the body over.
