  • Publication number: 20240144480
Abstract: A method and/or system generates a video of teeth of an individual over time. In one example, images comprising teeth of an individual are received, wherein the images are arranged in a sequence and each image is associated with a different stage of treatment of the teeth. One or more of the images are modified and/or replaced to align the images to one another. One or more synthetic images are generated, wherein each synthetic image is generated based on a pair of sequential images in the sequence and is an intermediate image that comprises an intermediate state of the teeth between a first state of a first image of the pair of sequential images and a second state of a second image of the pair of sequential images. A video is then generated that comprises the images and the one or more synthetic images.

  • Publication number: 20220093261
Abstract: A chronic kidney disease (“CKD”) machine learning prediction system is disclosed. The example system is configured to provide a projection as to whether a patient may progress to a next stage of CKD and/or whether the patient may need to urgently start dialysis. The machine learning algorithms disclosed herein include dynamic, multifactorial predictive algorithms that are programmed to consider clinical, pharmacological, and extra-clinical factors that adversely impact kidney function. The predictions provided by the machine learning system convey information to clinicians for improving CKD treatment before the disease worsens. In some instances, the predictions may be used for selecting a treatment plan, a dialysis treatment, and/or a renal replacement therapy (“RRT”).

  • Patent number: 10487240
Abstract: A crosslinkable silicone based emulsion composition includes a hydroxylated polydiorganopolysiloxane grafted onto at least one colloidal silica dispersion, wherein the at least one hydroxylated polydiorganopolysiloxane grafted onto the least one colloidal silica dispersion contains residual silanol groups from the at least one hydroxylated polydiorganopolysiloxane. Further, a waterborne co-binder silicone-organic resin composition includes (A) the crosslinkable silicone emulsion and (B) an organic resin emulsion which provides improved cured properties including, but not limited to, improved hydrophobicity (water resistance), scratch resistance and gloss retention as well as process for making the emulsions and the compositions.

  • Patent number: 8720729
Abstract: A foil made of two plastic films and an adhesive layer laminating the two films together, wherein the first plastic film has a first side and a second side and comprises punctures therebetween. The foil is of a dual peel-seal type such that the first plastic film realizes a first peel-able seal within the foil at its first side in the form of an adhesion peel seal in an open state and/or in the form of a cohesion peel seal in a sealed state, and wherein the adhesive layer leaves open the punctures such that gas can penetrate through the punctures in-between the two films towards the first peel-able seal.

  • Patent number: 7406606
Abstract: An apparatus, a method, and a computer program are provided for distinguishing relevant security threats. With conventional computer systems, distinguishing security threats from actual security threats is a complex and difficult task because of the general inability to quantify a “threat.” By the use of an intelligent conceptual clustering technique, threats can be accurately distinguished from benign behaviors. Thus, electronic commerce, and Information Technology systems generally, can be made safer without sacrificing efficiency.

  • Patent number: 6125400
Abstract: A method and system for reducing the amount of information sent across a socket when invoking an application using a remote method invocation. The present invention involves creating a list of the classes and fields contained within the application that is to be distributed and determining which of the fields are actually required for the remote method invocation under analysis. Any fields that are in the method but are not necessary for the invocation are marked with place holders.
