Abstract: Systems and methods to automatically activate distribution channels to be provided by potential business partners are disclosed. An example method to enable activation of a distribution channel provided by a client company for a host company disclosed herein comprises obtaining information concerning the client company, automatically triggering at least some of a plurality of host company departments to process the information to evaluate at least one of the client company or the distribution channel, and automatically processing machine readable evaluation indicators provided by the at least some of the plurality of host company departments and representative of respective evaluation decisions associated with the at least some of the plurality of host company departments to determine an overall evaluation result.

Abstract: Based on information specific to a company, a customized Web services development tool kit is automatically generated. The customized Web services development tool kit comprises at least one configuration file customized to the company based on the information, and a Web services test case driver. The customized Web services development tool kit may be used to develop, for the company, a client interface to a Web services system and to test the client interface using the Web services test case driver and the at least one configuration file.

Abstract: A computer rates applicants to different business relationship programs. For an application of a company to a business relationship program, the computer receives a program value, company information values and company sales values, and determines a rating value based thereon. Potentially different rating formulas are associated with the different business relationship programs. The computer may determine the rating value by processing the company information values and the company sales values according to a rating formula associated with the program value.

Abstract: A timeout helper main thread is created for an outbound call associated with a container. The main thread creates a timeout helper worker thread. A local timer is started to detect a first timeout condition based on a first timeout interval. The worker thread initiates a client Object Request Broker (ORB) to detect a second timeout condition based on a second timeout interval. If the outbound call completes within the first timeout interval, a result object is returned from the main thread. Otherwise, the main thread throws a timeout exception. If the outbound call has not completed within the second timeout interval, the client ORB throws an exception to the worker thread and one or more resources associated with the outbound call are reclaimed. As an alternative to the client ORB, an HTTP client can detect the second timeout condition.
