  • Patent number: 9783169
Abstract: In a method for assisting a driver of a motor vehicle in a driving maneuver, the surroundings of the vehicle are recorded, and it is checked whether at least one object is located in the surroundings of the vehicle, and it is ascertained subsequently whether the vehicle is approaching the object, and a warning to the driver is output if the vehicle approaches the object up to a critical distance. The driver is warned by a warning jerk, and after the warning jerk has taken place, the speed of the vehicle is automatically reduced.

  • Patent number: 8098173
Abstract: In a parking apparatus for a vehicle, a parking space is measured and a parking trajectory into the parking space is determined by using this apparatus. A driving space for the vehicle is captured by a camera, both the parking trajectory and a turning point situated on the parking trajectory being superimposed on the camera image.

  • Patent number: 7492282
Abstract: The present invention relates to a method and a device for determining the size and position of a parking space in relation to the position of a vehicle while the vehicle is driving past the parking space, the parking space extending longitudinally to the traffic lane and transversely to the traffic lane. It is the objective of the present invention to provide an ultrasound-based system for parking space measurement that operates more precisely than the known ultrasound-based systems for parking space measurement, even when passing the parking space at high speed and given high sensing depth of the parking space.

  • Patent number: 6011826
Abstract: A steam power station, in particular a nuclear power station, includes a steam conduit leading through a wall and forming a fixed point with the wall for the introduction of forces and moments. A main valve is connected to the steam conduit at the fixed point, without a high-pressure pipe being interposed. Satellite valves, which have smaller nominal widths than the main valve, are fastened to the housing of the main valve, without a high-pressure pipe being interposed. At least one additional valve has a housing fastened to the housing of a satellite valve, without a high-pressure pipe being interposed and without any support.
