Abstract: A method of making cushioning material including the steps of forming a plurality of alternate layers of flat and corrugated sheets of cardboard or paper which are bonded or glued together, curing or drying the bonding material or glue, crushing the layers so that at least a predetermined portion of the layers are plastically deformed to thereby form a block of cushioning material which behaves like an elastic body.
