Publication number: 20250124548Abstract: Embodiments are disclosed for generating a rendering output using a hybrid stochastic layered alpha blending technique. In particular, in one or more embodiments, the method may include receiving a plurality of fragments for rendering into a composited output. The method may further include storing a set of fragments of the plurality of fragments for each pixel in a fragment buffer up to a per pixel fragment buffer limit. For each received fragment of the plurality of fragments in excess of the fragment buffer limit for the fragment buffer, a modified set of fragments is generated by probabilistically replacing a selected fragment in the fragment buffer with the received fragment. The resulting fragments in the fragment buffer after processing the plurality of fragments is a blending set of fragments. A composited output for the pixel is then rendered by blending the blending set of fragments.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 13, 2023Publication date: April 17, 2025Applicant: Adobe Inc.Inventor: Michael Seth MONGER

Patent number: 11769300Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide computer-implemented methods, computer program products and computer systems. Embodiments of the present invention can, in response to receiving a request, identify a core component from source material based on topic analysis. Embodiments of the present invention can then generate three-dimensional representations of physical core components associated with the request. Finally, embodiments of the present invention then render the generated three-dimensional representations of the physical core components over the physical core components.Type: GrantFiled: August 11, 2021Date of Patent: September 26, 2023Assignee: Kyndryl, Inc.Inventors: Michael Seth Silverstein, Zachary A. Patent number: 11630867Abstract: A machine learning model repeatedly scans data exhaust for workstations (for which there are retention requirements regarding data exhaust) over a period of time. The machine learning model analyzes the respective data exhaust and the retention requirements to determine respective data exhaust logging parameters for each workstation. The machine learning model monitors respective data exhaust activity for each workstation over a subsequent period of time. An instance is identified in which logging activity of data exhaust for an identified workstation fails the retention requirements. An ameliorative action designed to satisfy the respective retention requirements for the identified workstation is executed.Type: GrantFiled: August 30, 2021Date of Patent: April 18, 2023Assignee: KYNDRYL, INC.Inventors: Michael Seth Silverstein, Martin G. Publication number: 20220243157Abstract: Disclosed herein are various bioreactor devices that mimic the mammalian joint. The bioreactor device can include a series of bioreactor chambers that contain different components of the joint, such as bone, cartilage, synovium, nerve and ligament. At least two different nutrient fluid circulation systems connect subsets of the bioreactor chambers to differentially supply nutrient fluids at concentrations optimized for the tissue that the fluid nourishes. For example, relatively hypoxic fluid can be supplied to synovium and cartilage to mimic oxygenation in the joint compartment, but normoxic fluid can be supplied to the bone and other components that have an arterial supply that provides higher oxygen concentrations. One or more or all of the bioreactor chambers can be supplied with separate inlets through which perturbation agents (such as drugs or other agents) can be introduced to model the effect of the perturbations on different components of the system.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 19, 2022Publication date: August 4, 2022Applicant: University of Pittsburgh - Of the Commonwealth System of Higher EducationInventors: Hang Lin, Rocky Sung Chi Tuan, Michael Seth Gold
