  • Publication number: 20250104866
Abstract: A method for determining a pathological parameter (e.g., a microvilli length (MVL)) of a subject is used to determine a therapeutic response for treatment of the subject. The method includes receiving a pathology image of the subject, identifying a pathological feature and determining a parameter of that feature (e.g., MVL), and determining an aggregate parameter. The pathology image may be pre-processed and/or segmented into regions of interest. The entire pathology image and/or the segmented regions may be subject to feature annotation.

  • Publication number: 20100174914
Abstract: A device, system and method for identifying an individual with a biometric identifier that is designed to be non-unique, such that at least one other individual in a given population has the identical biometric identifier. The biometric identifier according to the present invention, also referred to herein as a “BIdToken”, is implemented to be biometrically traceless, such that an exact image or copy of the biometric information is preferably not maintained by the present invention. Instead, the BldToken refers to an incomplete identifier obtained from the biometric information, which is non-unique. Preferably the invention operates so as to obviate the obligation to trust a third party.

  • Patent number: 7057532
Abstract: An in-vehicle system for tracking events that occur at specific locations of a transportation route and alerting a driver of an impending significant event includes a location determination unit for determining an instantaneous location of the vehicle, and an event determination unit coupled to the location determination unit and responsive to the instantaneous location of the vehicle for communicating with an events database for obtaining an impending traffic sign that the vehicle is about to confront based on the vehicle's instantaneous location. A decision module coupled to the event determination unit is responsive to current parameters of the vehicle for determining whether the current parameters of the vehicle are conducive to safe driving based on the impending event, and a warning unit coupled to the decision module is responsive to at least one current parameter of the vehicle not being conducive to safe driving for alerting the driver of the impending event.
