  • Publication number: 20130137965
Abstract: Small tissue property change detection is provided for magnetic resonance (MR) guided intervention. T1 changes from before and after treatment are compared. The comparison identifies locations of possible change. The comparison is performed for different times, one before and one after a zero-crossing of a signal intensity time curve. Due to the characteristics of the T1 mapping, common locations from the different times will have reversed contrast. Clustering and this reversal are used to distinguish the treatment region from noise.

  • Publication number: 20130035588
Abstract: Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) is used for therapy planning. The motion or position of the treatment region is tracked over time for many cycles using MRI. For temporal resolution, the tracking is done in planes through the tumor at different orientations rather than using three-dimensional scanning. The tracking may be used for calculating a spatial probability density function for the target. Alternatively or additionally, spatiotemporal information derived from the surrogate is compared directly to that from the tracked object to determine the accuracy or robustness of the surrogate-to-target 3D correlation Gating or tracking based on this surrogate may be performed where the comparison indicates that the surrogate is sufficiently reliable (accurate).

  • Patent number: 7123376
Abstract: A method for using bar code data parsed from a legacy printstream to facilitate electronic processing and electronic document presentment, whereby match code data, page number data, page count data are extracted from bar code data of legacy printstreams to determine what corresponding mail piece data set extracted data belongs to, and alternatively consulting a separate mail run data file as identified in the bar code data in order to find mail piece information to be used in identifying what page data belongs to what mail piece. Integrity and classification of collected data are thereby enhanced by consulting mail piece assembly data and page information included in legacy printstream bar code information.
