  • Publication number: 20160314328
Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for collecting line replaceable unit removal data. The system includes an identifying tag for a line replaceable unit (LRU). The identifying tag has a plurality of LRU information including an LRU identifier and removal data corresponding to the LRU. The system further includes a scanning device configured to obtain the LRU information from the identifying tag. A local database is configured to receive the plurality of LRU information from the scanning device and to generate an LRU statistics based on the removal data. A remote database is configured to acquire and store the LRU statistics generated by the local database.

  • Publication number: 20100114838
Abstract: Methods and apparatus are provided for tracking product reliability. A product removal database having removal data stored therein that are associated with one or more products is periodically accessed at a user-specified periodicity. An aircraft flight-hours database having time-in-flight data stored therein that are associated with each product is periodically accessed at the user-specified periodicity. One or more user-selected algorithms are executed, using at least a portion of the periodically accessed removal data, to determine if the criterion for a user-specified reliability parameter is met or not. If it is determined that the criterion for the user-selected reliability parameter is not met, then an alert is transmitted to a preset destination.

  • Publication number: 20060049609
Abstract: A low center of gravity scooter using a standard bicycle pedal system for initial forward motion. The front wheel of the scooter is pivotally mounted to a frame and includes an upwardly extended shaft supporting a chopper style handlebar, for steering. A rear wheel pedal system including a pedal crank, sprocket, and chain drive, mounted to the scooter frame. The rear wheel assembly includes a sprocket with free wheeling chain drive hub for forward motion and free wheel coasting. This unique Scooter-Bike uses a bicycle pedal system to provide forward motion on a stand-up scooter vehicle that can be ridden as a bicycle until sufficient speed is attained. The rider then can maneuver it in the stand-up position as a very maneuverable scooter.
