    Abstract: A convertible jacket having an extendable lining for fully enclosing the legs of the wearer under conditions of extreme cold. In one embodiment, openings in the lining for lining up with the openings into the sleeves are provided with closures. Closures are also provided for the lining when it is wrapped around the legs of the wearer.
