  • Publication number: 20240282856
Abstract: Some embodiments include an integrated assembly having an access device between a storage element and a conductive structure. The access device has channel material which includes semiconductor material. The channel material has a first end and an opposing second end, and has a side extending from the first end to the second end. The first end is adjacent the conductive structure, and the second end is adjacent the storage element. Conductive gate material is adjacent the side of the channel material. A first domed metal-containing cap is over the conductive structure and under the channel material and/or a second domed metal-containing cap is over the channel material and under the storage element. Some embodiments include methods of forming integrated assemblies.

  • Patent number: 9930744
Abstract: Described are various embodiments of an integrated fish diversion system, and lighting device used therein. One embodiment provides a system for diverting approaching fish from a predominant water flow path and toward a bypass. The system comprises a structural diversion assembly to be disposed across the predominant water flow path to guide the approaching fish along the structural diversion assembly to the bypass, while allowing passage of water through the structural diversion assembly along the predominant water flow path. The system further comprises one or more lighting devices to be cooperatively disposed in relation to the structural diversion assembly to further guide the approaching fish toward the bypass; and a controller operatively coupleable to the one or more lighting devices and operable to select an output spectrum thereof to optimize fish guidance thereby.

  • Patent number: 5581941
Abstract: The invention concerns a tilting-swinging roof window, in which the window sash (1) is held by two arms (3) mounted to pivot on the upper end of the casement (2). In the swinging movement, the window sash (1) is guided by swivel pins (12) slidable in grooves (9) on the side members (6) of the casing (2). In the tilted position, the sash (1) is tightly connected by the arms (3) to the upper end of the casement (2). The roof window is provided with an opening device, which, in the area of the longitudinal side members of the casement, requires little space, applies force to the window casing as uniformly as possible, and has parts which are largely integrated into existing components.

  • Patent number: 5581942
Abstract: A connecting assembly for installing the sash of a house skylight to the sides of its casement, has connecting parts that can pivot relative to each other, and the casement has holding elements that have cross sections which will engage therewith. This assembly allows the window sash to be inserted from the interior rapidly and in a simple manner by engagement with the positioning arms on the casement. This is achieved by the connecting parts (3) having a U-shaped cross section (4), which accept swinging positioning arms (5) which serve as the holding elements, and these connections can be locked by self-engaging attachment elements (6) that can be engaged without tools.

  • Patent number: 5218093
Abstract: Biologically active variants of epidermal growth factor are provided, comprising tandemly linked units of monomeric EGF. The variants are useful per se as therapeutic agents to promote wound healing. Production of the multimeric EGF by genetically engineered microbial hosts is also described.
