  • Publication number: 20240349714
Abstract: An animal trap for safely trapping animals that may be safely set with a single hand. The trap has a frame with an opening and a pair of doors that are pivotally affixed to the frame adjacent to the opening. The doors are movable between an open and closed position. A rotating assembly is connected to each door through a corresponding linkage that are pivotally connected to the rotating assembly and one of the doors. The rotating assembly is rotatably affixed to the frame and rotatable between a set position and a tripped position about an axis. A spring biases one of the doors toward its closed position and when the rotating assembly is in its set position. A trigger mechanism is pivotally affixed to the frame and has a set position and a tripped position, rotating the trigger mechanism will trip the trap.

  • Patent number: 10590655
Abstract: A ridge vent protection system is made to affix to an existing roof with an existing ridge vent that has an upper surface that is spaced from the existing roof surface. The system attaches to the roof and surrounds the perimeter of the existing ridge vent. The system has elongate members that are attached to the roof adjacent the lateral edges of the existing ridge vent. End caps that affix to the roof that cover the terminal edges of the existing ridge vent. The system is made from perforated metal and has a lower planar portion, an offset portion, and an upper planar portion. The upper planar portion holds down the top surface of the existing ridge vent. An optional top cover is also formed from perforated metal and overlays the entire top surface of the existing ridge vent. It is retained by the elongate members and end caps.

  • Publication number: 20070035853
Abstract: A portable magnifier has a support member having a support surface for removably supporting a portable electronic device having a display. A holder has a pair of holding portions and is connected to the support member for undergoing pivotal movement relative to the support surface of the support member. An optical element is mounted on the holding portions of the holder for undergoing sliding movement therealong. The optical element is also detachably pivotally connectable to the holding portions at preselected positions therealong to define a viewing state in which the optical element can be manually pivoted to a desired viewing position so that a user of the portable magnifier can view through the optical element a magnified version of information displayed on a display of the portable electronic device supported by the support surface of the support member.
