  • Publication number: 20240067194
Abstract: Controlling activation of an autonomous navigation function of a vehicle is provided. A system can include a data processing system with one or more processors, coupled to memory. The data processing system can determine, based on data collected from a vehicle and using a machine learning model trained on historical driving data associated with a driver of the vehicle and a driver having a driver profile corresponding to the historical driving data, that a vehicle controller of the vehicle is configured to autonomously navigate the vehicle through a scenario, facilitate, based on the collected data and the trained model, display of a prompt at the vehicle to activate autonomous navigation of the vehicle for the scenario, and upon receiving an indication of activation from the driver, provide instructions to the vehicle controller to perform autonomous driving control through the scenario, thereby reducing likelihood of error and lowering insurance premiums.

  • Publication number: 20230083504
Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for processing an insurance claim using a target captured image. A motion-based event associated with a vehicle is detected. One or more images of the motion-based event are captured automatically using a vehicle sensor. The one or more images are stored in a data stored associated with the vehicle. A request for an insurance claim from a user is received. A user interface is presented that enables the user to select the one or more images stored in the data store for associating the images with the insurance claim. A selection is received of at least one target image of the one or more images. Processing of the insurance claim is facilitated along with the selected at least one target image for processing.

  • Publication number: 20230077868
Abstract: Systems and methods are provided to deter an intruder from approaching and damaging a vehicle. With the use of a plurality of cameras, the system captures images of a surrounding environment of a vehicle. The system then detects a first motion-based event and, in response, stores images from at least one of the plurality of cameras. The system then detects a second motion-based event, and, in response, performs a first defensive action. Further, systems and methods are provided to capture images around the vehicle and automatically select an image associated with the insurance claim.

  • Patent number: 11357696
Abstract: An intercourse assembly is configured to enable human user to stimulate sexual intercourse. The apparatus is comprised of two cushions that each have a bullnose cutout on one side that is filled with a cushion bullnose made of a low-resilience polyurethane foam, such that when the cushions are attached, the two bullnose profile outlines are aligned. A formed pathway is made between the two cushion bullnoses to enable the user to simulate intercourse. A motor is attached to one of the bullnoses and configured to vibrate to enhance the user's enjoyment. Each cushion has an outer covering that features three hook and loop fasteners that enable the two cushions to attach to each other, as well as secure a washable liner to the apparatus through the use of two straps that each have two hook and loop fasteners on each end.

  • Patent number: 8779616
Abstract: A vertical wind-driven electricity generation device is described, which, in one embodiment, utilizes a segmented Savonius rotor and which is easily handled, transported, assembled and maintained, even by a single person. The blades of the rotor are segmented into a plurality of modest size blade segments, each of which comprises two, low height, helically-curved blade portions. The blade segments are preferably of the same height and diameter. The rotor is mounted on a central vertical shaft connected to a generator. When the plurality of blade segments are installed on the device's central shaft, the overall blade configuration functions as an unitary Savonius rotor. Flow of gas (normally air in the form of wind) causes the rotor to move, turning the shaft and rotating member of the generator to rotate, causing the generator to produce electricity.

  • Publication number: 20070216599
Abstract: A rigid antenna support structure is designed and prefabricated to rest on two or more existing support foots normally found on a roof or similar structure. The antenna support structure, to which antennas are attached, possess mounting brackets associated with the exterior of the structure configured to accept a plurality of vertical support members composed of a substantially RF transparent material. Attached to the vertical support members are a number of horizontal support members thereafter forming a concealment assembly skeleton. A plurality of RF transparent panels are then connected to the horizontal support members so as to form a concealment assembly that conceals the antenna support structure and antennas. The concealment assembly is environmentally and aesthetically pleasing, and retains RF transparency so as to not to attenuate the RF signals being sent to or originating from the antennas housed within.

  • Publication number: 20060032222
Abstract: Embodiments relate to braking high-speed rotational cutting equipment. In particular, some embodiments relate to forestry machinery having a cutting or mower apparatus, and further having a hydraulic brake. The brake includes a counterbalance valve which pressurizes fluid at the motor outlet to a predetermined level when flow of hydraulic fluid from a pump to a motor is discontinued. The hydraulic brake may include a restrictor orifice to reduce sudden pressure increases on the motor. The predetermined pressure level may be between about 2000 psi and about 4000 psi and the orifice may have a diameter of between about 0.025 and 0.040 inches. The counterbalance vent port can hydraulically connect to the motor case line. An anticavitation valve can be at the counterbalance valve port can supply fluid to the motor inlet after the flow from the pump discontinues. Additional embodiments include related hydraulic control systems and methods.

  • Publication number: 20040042844
Abstract: A ring binder for a filing system with a plurality of cover panels of a cover that are pivotally connected together for pivoting between open and closed cover positions. The cover defines an interior binder space between the cover panels in the closed cover position. A ring binding member is attached with the cover and includes rings that are openable and closeable for receiving and releasing pages and for binding and holding the pages inside the binder in the closed cover position. The binding member is preferably accessible in the open cover position. At least one of the cover panels comprises an indexing extension that extends beyond the cover panels that are disposed opposite thereto in the closed cover position by a distance sufficient for receiving and displaying indexing indicia visible from opposite sides of the first cover panel in the closed cover position and for viewing the indicia when the binder is disposed on a shelf substantially aligned with a plurality of other binders.
