  • Publication number: 20260159141
Abstract: A magnetic power unit configured to couple to a rotating component and convert a rotation of the rotating component into energy. The magnetic power unit includes a rotor coupled to the rotating component such that the rotor rotates with a motion of the rotating component. The magnetic power unit further includes a stator and an asymmetric counterweight, disposed adjacent to the rotor such that the rotor surrounds the stator, coupled to the rotating component. The asymmetric counterweight may be configured to offset an effect of the rotation of the rotating component on the stator such that the stator maintains rotational staticity. The rotor may pass the stator with each rotation of the rotating component such that the energy is generated.

  • Patent number: 12576998
Abstract: The present disclosure provides distributed drive systems and methods of use thereof. A distributed drive system may comprise one or more coils, one or more magnets, and at least one tread. A method for a distributed drive system may comprise the utilization of a plurality of voltage phases. The coils may comprise conductive wiring wrapped in a predefined form. In some embodiments, the coils may alternate in polarity. In some implementations, the coils may be attached directly to the frame of a larger machine or vehicle for uniform heat distribution. The magnets may comprise composite materials with ferrous portions. When the system comprises at least one tread, magnets may be embedded within the tread. In some aspects, the distributed drive system may be contained within a motive system of a machine or vehicle, thereby limiting the need for a transmission between a power source and the motive components of the machine or vehicle.

  • Patent number: 12514449
Abstract: An orientation indicator device that includes a band having an interior side, an exterior side, and a length to wrap around a neck of an animal. The orientation indicator device includes at least one fiducial marker attached to the band that is visible from the exterior side of the band to denote an orientation of the animal. The orientation indicator device includes a tag coupled to the band to hang by gravity from under the neck. The band is in the form of a collar with fasteners to fasten the collar around the neck. A system is also disclosed that includes a walk-in analysis zone. The orientation indicator device and a computer vision system, in the walk-in analysis zone, identify an orientation of an animal in the zone by capturing the orientation indicator device and dimensions of a body of the animal.

  • Patent number: 12501903
Abstract: A system and method for detecting and compensating for deformities or other irregularities in sheeted dough being delivered to a rotary cutter in order to preemptively avoid cutter wrap-up is provided. The detection system includes one or more sensors capable of identifying and monitoring irregularities in the dough upstream of the rotary cutter. Signals from the sensor(s) are sent to a controller which, upon detecting a dough irregularity which could cause cutter wrap-up, automatically raises the rotary cutter until the irregularity passes the cutter.

  • Patent number: 12351503
Abstract: The system comprises an enclosed centrifuge furnace with a first chamber, a second chamber and a third chamber all of which include and share a tilt axis. The third chamber is concentric with the first chamber and operable at a first temperature to melt a material within the first chamber. The second chamber is concentric with the first chamber and operable at a second temperature lower than the first temperature to cool the material within the first chamber. The system includes a first mechanism to rotate the first, second and third chambers, simultaneously, to create a centrifugal force to maintain the material within the third chamber as the centrifugal force is applied. The system includes a second mechanism to position the tilt axis at an angle which causes the melted material to pour from the third chamber into the second chamber where the material is cooled.

  • Publication number: 20250179583
Abstract: Differential methylation profiles of a panel of genes are identified from colorectal carcinoma tissues of colorectal cancer patients compared to normal colon mucosal tissue or to white blood cells from healthy subjects. A high methylation level of cytosines at CpG dinucleotide sites (in CpG-rich regions) of the panel of genetic loci are further validated in plasma cell-free DNA as signature markers indicative of colorectal cancer, which is useful for early stage detection of colorectal cancer and monitoring of disease progression. This panel of genetic loci include genes MAP3K14-AS1, DNM1P46, EMBP1, GATM, VSV2, LAYN, and SFMBT2, which individually or in combination can complement SEPT9-based assays in improving sensitivity and/or specificity in the detection of colorectal cancer. Assay methods and reagents for detection of the presence and levels of methylation of the marker genetic loci are also provided.
